Pray for this Guy...really...

Remember this?

Well...I haven't looked back out at it on YouTube since I uploaded it and realized tonight that I had comments. Here are 2 wonderful ones!

WOW! I'm an Awana leader and this is one of the verses our 2nd year Sparkies have to learn. I don't think any of them can say this with that much confidence. I'm very impressed with this little girl. Great Job. --2girls1boy

God bless u! --Indianmalugi

But then...this sad person had to comment...

Great parenting.

Are you going to get her to read this one from Psalm too?

"Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones."
-Psalm 137:9

I'm curious, is her father planning to sell her into slavery? (Exodus 21:7)

Hopefully he sells her to a good home before she talks back and gets executed. (Leviticus 20:9)

For real? So, I just simply said this, "I will pray for you. Thank you for giving me this opportunity."

Here is what I got back:

And I'll think for you. But I'd prefer it if instead of taking this opportunity to put your hands together and wish away your problems, you'd instead take the opportunity to act as a responsible parent and recognize the fact that the writings of bronze-age cattle sacrificers are not appropriate for a young child who is relying on you for moral guidance and accurate information about the world she will one day have to face alone.

I write this not out of anger, but sincere concern.

Please don't feel like I'm singling out your religion. I'd be expressing just as much concern if you had her reciting passages from Mein Kampf.

"...they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up."-Hosea 13:16Is this really the kind of moral code you want to be teaching your daughter?

Oh...bless his heart. Actually...God...bless his soul! Draw him near to you! Take the scales off his eyes that he might see!

WOW!! I wonder if that guy has commented on the other children reciting scripture or singing Christian songs.
It is a great opportunity to pray for a very lost and confused soul. I'll join you in that prayer.

I'm shocked that watching Belle recite this bothered this guy so much that he felt the need to leave such ignorant comments. When I say ignorant, I'm not being meant...his comments are literally ignorant. I will send up a prayer for him, as he obviously needs it.
