Love is in the Air...

..everywhere I look around.

I Love this man! We may have a peculiar way of showing it sometimes, but I do. There are times when I take him for granted, but then God gives me a reason to remember just why I married this man. And he loves me so much! He even puts up with WAY too much stuff from me...and he loves me anyway.

After almost 11 years of marriage! God is so good.

Last night (thanks to some co-babysitting from my Momma and Katy and Adam) David and I went and saw "Harvey" at Murray's Dinner Theater. Because the place was SO packed, we had to share a table with another couple. I was thrilled when I arrived and met this couple. They were 67 and 61...married 37 years...had survived her struggle for 2 years with bone cancer...and are living life to the fullest.

Girlfriend even puts on her leathers and rides with him on his hog! Go Girl!

They were from Atlanta, TX and were an absolute blessing to visit with. They spoke thru their stories of their reliance and faith in God and it reminded me of where mine is lacking so.

There was a couple beside us who were there celebrating their 60th anniversary. When asked "What is the secret to being married for 60 years" by the emcee, the wife calmly replied..."You just grin and bear it."

The entire place rolled!

I was blessed last night...truly. By the Wood's, the 60-year-celebrators, Momma, Adam and Katy...a roof over our heads, a warm bed to sleep in, 10 years of good times and bad...and my man still standing by me after all we've been thru.

Thank you, Lord, for your blessings on me!

Then, we got home around 11:00 and Hubs blessed me with my very own copy of "Fireproof". If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it for any marriage...young or old. It will bless your socks off! I got David...what else...a gift card to Starbucks.

This morning we woke up and David gave the kids these little Bible story books that are pencil-stencily type things to reveal the pictures. And Luke just kept saying "My balentines!" Then Katy showed up and blessed both kids with more gifts and candies. Kerri came over and visited for a little bit too, but other than that, we have just chilled out all day.

And I Napped. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO ME! Somebody say, Glory!

And now, we are off to play Valentine's Trivia and Name That Love Song!
