Hubs and I have lived in our current house for 10 years. We were fresh-faced and still newly weds. We had lived the first years of our marriage in Russellville and then in Little Rock. And I loved our place in Little Rock, but it was time. Time to put some roots down.

So we did. In Conway. A quaint little house in a great subdivision. We envisioned a long life and a house full of little Billie Jos (well...I did at least :0) And then it started. We had Baby Girl. Had just gotten involved at our little church in Vilonia. We had Baby Boy.

As time drew closer for Baby Girl to start Kindergarten, we knew one thing. We wanted her in the Vilonia Schools. But with all of the things before us and our plan to get debt free before we left, it just had to wait.

Until January.

When we began to seriously search out what would be best for us, we knew one thing. We would know it when we walked in.

And we did.



Is it what most people would have picked? No.
Is it the big fancy house that keeps up with the Jones'? No.

Well...what IS it then?
It is home.
It is perfect for us and where we are at this stage of life.
It will be the same house payment we have now.
It will keep us still in our "get out of debt" plan.
It is the area exactly that we wanted.
It is in the primary school that we wanted.
It is home.

And this girl can't ask for more than that.
